The Living God

God told the prophet Jeremiah to tell the people, "Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by the signs in the sky. For the customs of the peoples are worthless. (Jeremiah 10:1-3) But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God, the eternal King. When He is angry, the earth trembles; the nations cannot endure His wrath. Jeremiah also goes on to say:' These gods, who did not make the heavens and the earth, will perish from the earth and from under the heavens.' (Jeremiah 10:11)

But God made the earth by His power; He founded the world by His wisdom and stretched out the heavens by His understanding. (Jeremiah 10:12) If you read the book of Genesis, it will tell you that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The world was empty and darkness covered the entire universe. But when God said, 'Let there be light; the light appeared.'

We are here today, because God spoke life into our inner soul. God has allowed us to experience another day and that's a blessing. And when God created us in His image, He also equipped us for a purpose. God gave His creation a purpose for living, seek and find your purpose. That God may gladly reveal your purpose on your way to eternity. Embrace the living God; the God of gods; the King of kings and the Lord of lords. This God is eternal to all that abides in Him.
