Repent

In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea saying repent. "For the kingdom of heaven is at hand!"(Matthew 3:1-2)  John the Baptist said indeed I baptize you with water unto repentance. But He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. (Matthew 3:11) In this verse John was referring to Jesus Christ. Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. And John tried to prevent Him, saying,"I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me? But Jesus answered and said to him,"Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting to fulfill all righteousness." (Matthew 3:13-15) John obeyed Jesus and he baptized Him in the Jordan river. Our lives can be made straight when we listen to the voice of Jesus.

And when Jesus had been baptized He came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. It's no different today, God would like for us to live a life that is pleasing to Him and heaven will rejoice. Some may want to know, "How do we please God?" First, we may pleased God, when we acknowledge His Son, Jesus Christ. The One that died for our sins, yes, our sins have been forgiven. Now we must walk in the path of righteousness that was paved for us long ago. I believe the Lord is saying at this very hour, "Repent and make your way straight for the Savior of the world is at hand."

Chosen

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. Having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will. (Ephesians 1:3-5) In Jesus we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. (Ephesians 1:7) By reading these verses, we know that God chose us before the world ever existed. God created us with a purpose; for a purpose in the beginning of time.

The word of God tells us, we have been chosen to do God's will. Many may be wondering what is God's will for their lives? God said, "when we seek Him first, His righteousness, all these things shall be added to you." God would like to bless us abundantly and exceedingly than we can ever imagine. And with Christ all things are possible when we rely on Him and not ourselves. We have been chosen by the Most High God; He is the beginning and the ending. We are alive today, because we have been chosen to fulfill God's purpose.

The labor of God is plentiful, but the laborers are few. God chose you, but are you willing to accept His invitation? Today, around the world there are not many that are willing to seek God's way of doing things. But the chosen ones sincerely seek God first; they trust God for their every need. Remember, God chose you!

Believers of Christ

Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved. put on tendermercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering. Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. {Colossians 3:12-14} Jesus died for our sins, because He sincerely loves us. That's what I call true love!

The bible says as believers, we should let the peace of God rule in our hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and to also be thankful. {Colossians 3:15} And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. {Colossians 3:17} I really believe that only what we do for Christ will last. For the world will pass away, but Jesus Christ is forever; He is there for all believers.

If you believe Jesus died for your sins, you shall be saved. You may ask God to forgive you of all your sins and come into your heart. And He will come into your heart with gladness because Jesus loves you.

Walk with the Lord

In order for us to have a closer walk with the Lord, we must seek Him daily. Before we began a new day, ask God to walk with you throughout this day. And God will lead and protect you with His divine power. God will gladly lead us in the path of all His righteousness. When we willingly seek Him first. God's purpose for us, is that we allow Him to walk we us, that He may abundantly bless us forever.

In Corinthians 5:7-We know that the believers walk by faith, not by sight. This walk with God is a spiritual walk. The bible says in Galatians 5:16-Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. And in verse 17 it says: For the flesh lust against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. We are not our own, because God created us in the image of Himself; to be like Him. That we may be able to walk with Him everyday of our lives; that He may abide in us. Today, you may walk with Jesus in Spirit and in truth.

I pray that many around the world would seek God first and all His righteousness. That many would acknowledge Him and all His ways. Allow God to direct your path and develop your plans this day. That we may have a closer walk with Thee, in Jesus Name amen.

God's Family

In Exodus 3:7- The Lord is saying, I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of the taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. In this passage God is speaking of the children of Israel. At that time the Israel children were being oppressed by the Egyptians for many years and God became angry. It would make anyone upset to see their children being mistreated constantly. In verse 8: God said, "I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from the land flowing with milk and honey." We have to know that God will do the same for us today. But we must be connected to God's divine family. Didn't God say in His words several times, that He would never leave us?

In Psalm 72:12- It says that God will deliver the needy when He cries, the poor also and him who has no helper. God also said He would spare the needy. It is delightful to know that God is there to supply our needs when we abide in Him. God loves everyone, but His children are considered highly favored by Him. Are you a part of the royal family? Well, if you are not in the family, God has given you another chance to repent. And ask Jesus to come into your heart; into your life right now. "God is merciful and when He created us, it was His desires for us, to be a part of His family."

Life In Jesus

God has given eternal life to all that has accepted His Son as their Savior. If we believe in Jesus, allow Him to live in us; we shall receive an everlasting life. To receive an everlasting life means to live forever; there's no ending point. In Jesus there is life, even though our bodies deteriorate our souls will not perish. Jesus gives life to all that abides in Him forever. Yes, Jesus is giving us eternal life; it's free; freely given and freely it is received. Today, we may live and not die when we allow Jesus into our souls.

Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise that He has promised us- eternal life. {1John 2:24-15}

God has given us a freewill whether to choose His Son or reject Him. And it is wonderful to know that God will not force us, nor pressure us into accepting Jesus into our lives. It is totally our choice to live in Jesus forever and He in us.

Glorify God

When God created us in the image of Himself it was for the purpose of glorifying Him. There are many ways to glorify the Most High God. One of the most important ways we may glorify God is by living a life that is pleasing to Him. It pleases God, when we seek Him first in all our doings. And when we allow God to direct our path by living according to His words; God is definitely well pleased! In {1 Peter 4:11}: If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God gives; that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ. If we are glorifying anyone or anything else besides the Creator of the world, God is not pleased. But the good thing about this situation, we can ask God to forgive us for our wrongdoings; our sins. And God will certainly forgive us, for He is forever merciful to all His creations.

The bible also says: Yet if any man suffer as a christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. The time has come that judgement must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin with us, what shall the end be of them that disobey the gospel of God? {1 Peter 4:16}

Sin

We know that sin separates us from the will God has for our lives. God created us, that we may glorify Him for what he has done; will do and what He is now doing at this very hour. Sin disconnect us from the effectiveness of God has for us. How can God work in our lives when we reject Him? How can we connect with God when sin is present in our lives? It almost like calling someone and constantly get a busy signal. When we have sinned, we should immediately ask God to forgive us for our sins. Jesus is the Lamb of God which has taken away the sin of the world. When He died for our sins that we may live eternally. Jesus gave His life for all of us.

The bible says: Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things become new.{1 Corinthians 5:17} For He has made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. {1Corinthians 5:21} Jesus has already carried our sins to the cross because He loves us dearly; He took our place, for He was qualified to die for our sins.

The Lord is my Shepherd

Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow Me." And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. I and the Father are One. (Matthew 10:29-30 )What belongs to God He knows and no one can take that away. If you have accepted Christ as your personal Savior, you also belongs to the royal family.

When God calls His children answers without hesitance. I am glad that Jesus gave His life that I may live eternally. I can personally say," the Lord is my shepherd and I shall not want." God gave me life when He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ. You may allow Jesus into your life right now, that He may be your Lord. If you believe Jesus died for your sins, arose on the third day, you shall be saved. You may ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and come into your heart. God will come into your heart and He will dine with you. Because the Lord willingly and gladly shepherds His flock.
